What is the Full Form of TLC?

TLC stands for "Total Lung Capacity"

TLC represents Total Lung Capacity. It is the greatest measure of air contained in the lungs toward the finish of a maximal motivation, for example, the air contained in the lungs when they are completely expanded.

TLC is the amount of flowing volume, inspiratory save volume, expiratory save volume, leftover volume. For example Tender loving care = TV+IRV+ERV+RV. The normal all-out lung limit of a sound individual is around 6 liters of air.

• Flowing Volume (TV): The measure of air that you take in and out during typical, loosened up relaxing. It is generally around 500 ml of air.
• Inspiratory Reserve Volume: The extra air that you can coercively inhale into your lungs after you take in the flowing volume in ordinary relaxing. It is around 3,100 ml of air.
• Expiratory Reserve Volume: The extra air that you can coercively inhale out after you inhale out the flowing volume in ordinary relaxing. It is around 1200 ml of air.
• Lingering Volume (RV): The air left in the lungs after you inhale out as much as possible, for example, the air contained in the lungs after you inhale out the expiratory hold volume (ERV). It is around 1200 ml of air.
