CRPF represents the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). It is a paramilitary power that is the biggest Central Armed Police Force in India. CRPF works under the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India. Its essential objective is to help the state and association region governments in keeping up lawfulness in their domains. It is settled in New Delhi, India. The public authority of India has set up the CRPR foundation to prepare the youthful competitors who join the CRPF. As of July 2017, Sh Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar is the Director-General of CRPF.

Brief History of CRPF:

• The name CRPF is obtained from the Crown Representative's Police (CRP) which was established on 27 July 1939 to ensure the British public living in the touchy conditions of India.
• In 1949, under the CRPF Act, the CRP was renamed CRPF.
• On October 21, 1959, a little CRPF watch was assaulted by the Chinese warriors and 10 out of the 20 CRPF fighters relinquished their lives for the nation. To respect the affliction of these officers, October 21 is recognized as the Police Commemoration Day.
• During the 1960s, the greater part of the state police units converged with CRPF.

• In the 2001 Indian Parliament assault, CRPF murdered all the five fear-based oppressors engaged with the assault. In the exact year, it was assigned as the chief inward security power of India.
• In 2008, Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA), a particular unit of CRPF was set up to counter Naxal tasks.
