It is a unique researching organization of India which is designated to explore a particular case. It is generally selected when it is discovered that the current organization can't lead an appropriate examination for the situation or the argument is against some prominent individuals who may impact the examination of the current office.
There is no law in the constitution to determine the kind of case that could be allowed to SIT. It is typically the prominent cases that are relegated to this organization. Gujarat revolt case and the 1984 enemy of Sikh uproar case are some of such cases explored by the SIT.
An uncommon examination group can be delegated by the Supreme Court or the state government. The group is going by one individual. It explores the case and makes a report to introduce in the court. The report goes through investigation at all phases of allure. The court has the privilege to acknowledge or dismiss the report. On the off chance that the court dismisses the report, at that point, the re-appraising court is the lone choice left to choose the destiny of the case.
