Hence, the importance of elections increases. Therefore, voters of the above states must install these two apps on their phones, which will help a lot during elections. 

Why did the Election Commission take this step?

The cases of Omicron are increasing day by day in the country, due to which the Election Commission has focused more on digitization.

cVigil

cVigil app is one of the best apps introduced by the Election Commission. This will assist voters in preventing rigging in elections which is one of the major issues faced by the election commission. Images and videos can be saved in the cVigil application. This app can easily be downloaded on Android and iOS devices. Android or iPhone users can easily install this app via Google Play Store and Apple Play Store.

PWD App

The Election Commission has also introduced the PWD app which assists differently-abled people to vote. With the help of this application, people with disabilities can request for wheelchair, free transport facility for voting for their convenience. 

How to lodge complaint?

The Election Commission has recently launched the Suvidha App which will help political parties to select their campaign area and get space permission for it from anywhere through the app.
