How to change your Microsoft account name?

 To begin with the steps, you need to open the Microsoft profile website on your browser/chrome/ or any other your favorite web browser. With this open the website and log in by putting your important credentials like name and password. If you have put the correct information it will give you access to sign in but if not then you need to go for the Ask Help option and follow the instructions mentioned.

After signing in, you will be able to see one “Your info” page on your screen. Your Avatar/display picture will be visible if you have applied. Below this, your name and all the updates are also available. On the right side of the bottom, there is one option for EDIT YOU PROFILE. Click on this option, it will open one page where all your information is available and you can easily make changes, regarding your name, account name, profile picture/Avatar, and email id, or anything related to the password that can be made.

For a specific account, name tap on the FULL ENTRY option and change your Microsoft account name. Once done with the changes don't forget to tap on the Save changes option else, all your change will not be saved and went discarded. But for tapping on the saving option, Microsoft has introduced one interesting update that you need to write down the first and the last name of the captcha for security purposes. 

To see the changes you have just made, sign out from your account and restart your pc and then again log in. it will be now available.
