The latest market quotations of major chip manufacturers (1)

Lansheng Technology has compiled the latest spot market trends of TI, ST, Infineon, Microchip, NXP, ADI, Renesas and other chips for your reference.

TI: The overall demand is falling, and the price cut joins the price war

In May, the overall demand for TI dropped significantly, the price continued to drop, and the market price gradually returned to normal levels. The current price of PMIC is still at a high level, and it is expected that the price will drop in the third and fourth quarters, but the delivery time is relatively shortened. In addition, the supply shortage of MCU and DSP has not been alleviated, and the MSP series and TMS320 series are still relatively out of stock. It is reported that TI comprehensively lowered the price of analog chips in the Chinese market in May and added "price involution".

ADI: The delivery time is gradually shortened, and the price of the original factory is increasing

The increasingly shortened and adjusted delivery schedule is basically in line with expectations, still around 13-16 weeks. It is rumored that ADI's price adjustment policy in May has been reported through some channels this month. According to the previous operating style of the original factory, the announced price should increase, but it will not be a universal adjustment. ADI announced in May that it will invest 630 million euros to build a chip manufacturing plant in Europe, which is expected to triple ADI's wafer production capacity in Europe.

ST: Automotive grade products are still in short supply

On the whole, the demand for ST is gradually decreasing, but the car-grade products still face a shortage, such as the market price of the STM32H7X series is still at a high level. ST plans to invest about US$4 billion to expand wafer production capacity this year, and after transferring consumer production capacity to the automotive category, it is expected to see a turnaround in the delivery of automotive chips in Q3, but the overall output of the original factory is expected to be worse than expected in 2022. ST unveiled a new edge AI-accelerated microprocessor in May, with volume production expected in the first half of 2024.
