YouTube incorporates a new feature "Super Thanks" into its platform.
YouTube has rolled out a new feature "Super Thanks" to allow users to earn money via YouTube.The feature works by enabling the subscribers to donate money to their favourite content creators ranging between Rs 40- Rs 1,000. The feature is not new to the YouTube users as similar kinds of features are also introduced in 2017, 2018, and 2019 including Super Chats, Channel Membership, Super Sticker. Since the launch of YouTube, it has helped several talents across the world to showcase their skills as well as earning money although, it is believed that this feature will prove to be more beneficial for the users as along with YouTube revenue it will give them a chance to earn extra money via their subscribers as well as allowing them to know who's their loyal subscribers and which kind of content they like the most.
Besides this, to earn a tip now the content creators do not require to conduct live stream gaming videos or try different tactics to attract audience attention as even by making simple knowledgeable videos the content creators can earn money from their genuine subscribers on the channel. To donate money to the content creators the subscribers need to purchase 'Super Thanks'. The Super Thanks bonus will be seen as an animated GIF in different colours. Presently, the subscribers can spend USD 2 to USD 50 on the creator. Along with this, the subscribers can also pay the amount in domestic currencies.
YouTube is constantly trying to encourage content creators and businesses to create more innovative content on the platform and grow financially, recently the tech giant had also announced to acquire 'Simsim' a video sharing platform to help small businesses to grow their business. By acquiring 'Simsim' YouTube plans to showcase the products available on the shopping app on its platform. Although presently the deal is not finalized and both the companies are in the initial stage of talks, it is expected that soon the deal will be finalized.
