Daily Semiconductor Industry Information Colltected By Lansheng Technology

1. According to Japanese media reports, following the foundry #TSMC’s investment in Japan to build a new fab, South Korea’s Samsung Electronics plans to invest 30 billion yen to build a semiconductor back-end packaging and testing production line in Yokohama, Japan. Mass production will be completed in 2025. The investment project will also receive supporting subsidies from the "Chip Act" passed by the Japanese government.

2. The #semiconductor sector in the US stock market generally rose: #Navitas Semiconductor rose 6%, Micron Technology rose 4%, Wolfspeed, Marvell Technology rose 3%

3. ADI recently announced that it will invest 630 million euros in its European regional headquarters in Limerick, Ireland, to greatly expand wafer production capacity. The investment is part of Ireland's first application to the European Commission for an important microelectronics and communications technology project of common interest in Europe. It plans to build a new R&D and manufacturing facility covering an area of 45,000 square feet, which will support ADI's development of industrial, automotive and healthcare chips. Develop next-generation signal processing products that do not require cutting-edge process technology.

4. After memory semiconductor companies cut production, the prices of DRAM and #nandflash memory semiconductors are still falling sharply. #Samsung Electronics once stated that it would not cut production, but due to the stagnation of the global economy, #IT demand could not get rid of the weakness, and finally joined the ranks of production reduction, but the effect of supply reduction has not yet been fully realized. #Industry insiders pointed out that although it is difficult for demand to rebound sharply in the second half of the year, with the efforts of actively reducing production, memory supply and demand will achieve balance.
