The term Deep Learning was introduced to the machine learning community by Rina Dechter in 1986.It is also known as deep structured learning or hierarchical learning. It is Large Neural Networks. Deep learning may be a type of machine learning that trains a computer to perform human like tasks like as recognizing speech, identifying images or making predictions. Instead of organizing information to run through predefined equations, deep learning sets up basic parameters about the data and trains the computer to learn on its own by recognizing patterns using many layers of processing. Deep Learning is a new area of Machine Learning research, which has been introduced with the objective of moving Machine Learning closer to one of its original goals: Artificial Intelligence.
