MediaTek has released their new flagship CPU, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. This is MediaTek's most efficient processor to date. Previously, MediaTek's most compelling processor was inferior to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 and Samsung's Exynos 2100.
Dimensity 9000 will now compete directly with Qualcomm and Samsung's flagship CPU chipsets. The Dimensity 9000 is the first 4nm-based mobile processor in the globe. It boasts a 10 core Arm Mali-G710 GPU and 5th generation's 6 APU, all of which offer artificial intelligence (AI). The Dimensity 9000 is the first mobile CPU in the world to accommodate 320-megapixel lenses. This means that companies can provide the same megapixel camera in their smartphones if they so like. By the first quarter of 2022, phones using this processor will be available.
This processor's highest speed is 3.05GHz and is backed with LPDDR5x 7500Mbps. This processor's other unique characteristic is its ability to transmit data at a rate of 9 gigapixels per second. The Dimensity 9000 is equipped with an 18-bit HDR-ISP, allowing it to shoot HDR video from three cameras at the same time. This CPU will preserve four times the amount of battery life as the previous model. It comes with ARM Mali-G710 graphics.
This processor will also be capable of supporting a Full HD + screen with a refresh rate of 180Hz. As a result, 16 5G standard technologies have been established. On a 5G network, this CPU will have a speed of up to 7 Gbps. Dimensity 9000 will also be backed with Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E 22, Wireless Stereo Studio, and Beidou III-B1 C GNSS connectivity.
