Now Sign Into iCloud On The Web Using Face ID Or Touch ID

Those people who are running the beta build of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, or macOS Catalina, can now sign into iCloud on the web using Face ID or Touch ID. Apple is testing this new login procedure as a part of iOS 13/iPadOS 13/macOS Catalina.

If you are running iOS 13 or macOS Catalina beta and if you go to iCloud.com, you will be automatically redirected to beta.iCloud.com.
Where you are greeted with a popup that asks you if you would like to use your Apple ID with biometrics, and then proceeds to log you in, without two-factor authentication.

It's a lot easier and more secure signing in using Face ID and Touch ID than entering your sign-in information.

Experts are seeing the new procedure as part of the Apple’s forthcoming Sign in with Apple tool. Users will be able to use Apple’s Sign-in as a single sign-on button for websites, similar facility as Facebook and Google have deployed across the internet but more secure as claimed by Apple.

Most probably, Apple will also expand the use of such a login process to its other services and digital storefronts.
