How to Crop an image into a Shape in Google Slides?

Each picture in your slideshow does not have to be a simple rectangle or square. You might wish to add some form to your image to freshen up the display. In Google Slides, you can quickly clip a picture into a form.

You may even be in the opposite scenario. Perhaps you have patterns in your slideshow that you want to make more interesting. Images can be used as fillers for forms such as circles, arrows, hearts, and stars. It all starts with cropping a picture to match the desired form. Make a shape out of an image by cropping it. Include your picture in your Google Slides presentation. If you haven't done so yet, include your picture in your Google Slides presentation.

Select the slide you wish to work with, then go to the Insert menu and select Image. Choose a place for the picture to be uploaded and drag it into your slide. If your picture is bigger than the slide, you may resize it by dragging a corner or edge first. However, because you'll be cutting it into a form, depending on its proportions, this may not be essential. Once your picture is selected, click the arrow next to the Crop button in the toolbar. There are four categories to choose from: shapes, arrows, callouts, and equations. Move your pointer to the desired category and choose a shape from the pop-up menu. And there you have it: you've trimmed your image to suit that form!

Steps for Image Shape Formatting?

You may format the image shape just like every other photo or image you add to your slideshow. Select it and then choose Format > Format Options from the menu or "Format Options" from the toolbar.

This brings up a sidebar with features for size and rotations, location, drop shadow, and other things. You may still resize the image by dragging one of its corners or edges. This was all about the steps for formatting and cropping into Google Slides. Do we hope this article helped you save your time? What are your thoughts on sharing the same with us in the comments?
