How to Crop an Image into a Shape in Google Slides?

It's not necessary for every graphic in your presentation to be a simple rectangle or square. You might wish to give your image some form to improve its appearance. In Google Slides, you can quickly clip a picture into a form.

You might even find yourself in the opposite situation. Perhaps you have patterns in your presentation that you'd like to make more interesting. Pictures can be used to fill in forms such as circles, arrows, flowers, and stars. Cropping a picture to fit into the desired shape is the first step.

How to make a shape out of an image?

If you haven't previously done so, start by inserting your picture into your Google Sheets presentation. Select the slide you wish to work with, then select Image from the Insert option. Choose where you want to save the image and drag it onto your slide. If your picture is larger than the slide, you may resize it by dragging one of the corners or edges first. However, depending on the proportions of the image, this may not be necessary because you'll be cropping it into a shape. Select your image and then click the arrow beside the Crop option in the toolbar. Forms, arrows, callouts, and equations are the four categories you'll encounter. 

Pick a style from the pop-out menu by moving your cursor to the desired category. You've trimmed your image to suit that form in no time. Format the Shape of the Image

You may format the image shape just like every other image or photo you add to the slideshow. Select it and choose Format > Format Options from the submenu or "Format Options" from the toolbar.

This brings up a sidebar with size and rotation, placement, drop shadow, and other options. You may still adjust the picture by dragging one of the edges or corners.
