To begin with, both Android and iOS are operating systems developed for mobile systems with the only difference, Android is developed by Google and iOS is developed by Apple incorporation. Both of their incorporation dates are in a year difference, practically saying Apple was initially released on July 29 2007 while Google was initially released on 23 September 2008.
iPad, iPhone, and iPod are the devices where the iOS features are used while Android is mainly designed for tablets and smartphones.
The functionality of both iOS and Android are the same with its almost similar feature with regards to calling, messaging, video calling, voice calling, and so on. In comparison to it, the major difference that lies between the two is – iOS is solely controlled by Apple incorporation with its limited models so there is no risk of quality problem in iOS devices whereas Android software is controlled by various electronic companies with varied models so the chances of quality problems are more especially when it is concerned with phones and tablets of cheaper valuation.
Both Apple and Google have their own app stores but as per the study Android is considered to be more superior as compared to iOS in terms of organization of Apps along with its widgets which are boasted to be more accessible.
Another major difference that’s observed in an era of AI is in terms of Voice assistants. iOS has Siri while Google has Google Assistance. It is noted that iOS devices have just access to 34 languages while Android devices have access to more than 100 languages.
